An internship with the Law and Empowerment Foundation offers a challenging and rewarding experience for those dedicated to human rights and social justice. Our program provides interns with exposure to public interest law, human rights legal aid, and advocacy in Bangladesh, with opportunities to travel to different districts for assignments. This is a unique opportunity to engage with key human rights movements in a developing country and explore Bangladesh.

We collaborate with educational institutions to promote quality legal and social education. Interns will participate in initiatives aimed at providing paralegal education, promoting human development, and enhancing digital literacy and TVET skills to foster inclusive, sustainable growth.

Interns will conduct and support research on legal, environmental, economic, and social issues. They will analyse findings, assist in producing comprehensive reports, and engage in surveys and investigations on significant national, regional, and international matters.

Our commitment extends to promoting and protecting human rights globally. Interns will support counselling and education efforts on legal and civic rights, help raise awareness of responsibilities, and champion the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, focusing on women, children, and marginalized communities.

Interns will support labour rights organizations and trade unions, advocating for workers’ rights through research, analysis, training, and advocacy. They will also promote women’s rights in the workplace and work on the proper implementation of labour laws.

Interns will assist in providing legal aid to disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, offering counselling, representation, and support before courts and quasi-judicial forums.

Interns will help promote the resolution of disputes outside the courtroom through ADR methods, encouraging quicker, cost-effective settlements.
